The Stress of COVID-19 and House Arrest
Hey guys!
Sorry for yet another email. We all know these are stressful times, in many aspects, so we just wanted to ensure everyone knows what resources they have available!
1) The Employee Assistance Program that we always have is a great resource. It's free and confidential.

2) Headspace is giving out free memberships to healthcare workers. For those that do not know, it is an app for meditation and mindfulness. I've heard really great things about it, and it's free so worth a shot!

3) One of the psychiatrists, Francoise Adnan, has offered to attend virtual meetings to talk to us. I wasn't sure if this is something we would all want necessarily for a large town hall (please correct me if I'm wrong and we can work on setting it up), but I thought this would be a good resource if anyone would want to reach out individually, or if a group of people would like to chat with her, that is an option, too! Just let me or Dr. Helou know :)
4) We are super fortunate we have the technology that we do at a time like this! Please utilize FaceTime, zoom meetings, texting, whatsapping, etc with family, co-residents and friends. Likely if you're feeling bored/lonely/isolated/stressed, many others are, too!!
Please let me know if you guys have questions/concerns. Stay tuned for more lovely emails regarding the blood drive, virtual town hall, and an awesome google folder that Hillary put together! Happy house arrest!
