Expectations and Objectives

  • To become proficient in performing anesthesia for a wide variety of neurological cases, including tumors, shunts, evacuations, spine surgery, and more. This rotation will challenge you to expand and apply your knowledge of neurophysiology, neuromonitoring, and neuroanesthesia. You will also be learning more challenging patient positions and develop your ability to remain calm, efficient, and organized while doing so.
